Olympus launches all-in-one mobility-app

With the 'all-in-one mobility' app from Olympus, individuals will have access to all forms of public and shared transport on one platform. Users can pay their ticket via their smartphone thanks to Mastercard's card-on-file system. In addition, the application encourages commuters to avoid roads with traffic jams during rush hours, thus reducing traffic on these routes. Antwerp is the scene for the pilot project of the 'all-in-one mobility' app in September, later the app will also be introduced in all other Belgian cities.

"Making public transport more accessible and mobility services more transparent". With that in mind, Olympus Mobility centralised the fragmented offer of public and shared transport in its Mobility app, which gives access at a glance to public transport (train, tram, bus, metro), as well as car sharing, bicycle sharing and parking.

Originally, the Olympus app was only available to employees in the context of company mobility solutions. For this first version they received a budget from their employer. In September, the app will be accessible to all residents of Antwerp who want to avoid traffic during a pilot project thanks to Mastercard's card-on-file system. Then the user can easily reload his mobility subscription with his Maestro or Mastercard.

Moreover, the 'all-in-one mobility' app encourages commuters to avoid busy roads during the morning and evening rush hours by offering multiple forms of transport on the same platform. This includes a reward system: users who change their behavior are rewarded with restaurant or other vouchers.
